My therapeutic journey has spanned many years, and I’m still adding to the count! Having been on the client’s side, I understand the unique experience of seeking support.

In 2020, I graduated from Baylor University’s MSW program. I have studied dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy. I truly believe that a strong therapeutic alliance and hope are the most important predictors of clinical success.

Beyond therapy, I’ve discovered healing through Ashtanga yoga, even venturing to Mysore, India, with my daughter to study at the Krishna Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute (KPJAYI). Immersed in Indian culture with a local family, the experience taught me a valuable lesson: sometimes, what you’re searching for is already within you.

Married for 26 years, my husband and I share our lives with two incredible grown children and two four-legged babies. I enjoy Thursday night dinners with my parents and children, tending to my wildflower garden, spending time with friends, and weekly visits to the farmer’s market are some of my favorite activities. And when it comes to meals, for me, nothing beats a slice of supreme thin-crust pizza paired with a Diet Coke.
